THE ARTIST


Giovanna Onori was born in Rome, Italy, where she graduated with a degree in Letters from Rome's "La Sapienza" University and has worked as a grade school teacher.

During her many years of residence in the United States, she took a course in Design at the Chicago Art Institute.

She is presently living in Bracciano (Rome), where she dedicates her time to painting, taking part in numerous collective exhibitions as well as presenting many personal shows. Her work was featured in the 4th and 5th Biennial National Watercolor Shows in Albignasego (Padua), and one of her pictures is on permanent exhibition in the town gallery.

She has just published a book entitled "Lettere a Susanna, storie di una ragazza degli anni quaranta", with illustrations by the author.
L'ARTISTA


Giovanna Onori è nata a Roma, dove si è laureata in Materia Letteraria all' Università "La Sapienza" e dove ha insegnato nelle scuole medie e superiori.

Ha trascorso diversi anni negli Stati Uniti, dove ha frequentato un corso di disegno presso L'Art Institute di Chicago (Illinois).

Attualmente vive a Bracciano (RM), dedicandosi alla pittura. Ha participato a numerose mostre collettive e ha presentato parecchie personali. Inoltre, ha preso parte alla IV° e V° Biennale Nazionale dell'Acquerello tenuta ad Albignasego (PD) nella cui Pinacoteca è conservata una sua opera.

Ha pubblicato, di recente, un libro: "Lettere a Susanna, storie di una ragazza degli anni quaranta", illustrato dall'autrice.
