THE ARTIST

Born in Bracciano, GINA POMPONI spent her first thirty years in the town's picturesque old quarter, in a house with a gorgeous view of the outlying area, and her dream of painting this panorama was born very early on.

Her creativity found an outlet in the high fashion sector, and she worked in Rome for many years.

On retiring, she was able to fulfill her childhood dream.

Self-taught and gifted with a vivid imagination, a flair for colors and a good sense of humor, Gina paints in a spontaneous way, and her pictures are valid without being tied to standard pictorial techniques.
L'ARTISTA

Nata a Bracciano, GINA POMPONI ha passato i suoi primi trent'anni nel centro storico del cittadina in una casa dalla quale si potesse godere il panorama più suggestivo del territorio, che Gina sognava fin dalla prima giovanezza poter dipingere.

Per diversi anni ha espresso sua creatività nel settore dell'alta moda a Roma.

Appena pensionata, ha potuto realizzare il suo sogno giovanile.

Autodidatta, dotata di una vivida immaginazione, senso del colore e anche di un certo umorismo, i suoi quadri sono spontanei, validi anche se indipendenti dalle techniche pittoriche.
