THE ARTIST

LUIGI GUITARRINI (Lug De Nino) was born in Vejano in 1945.

He participates with notable success in various art shows, and is one of the founders of the Bracciano Artists' Association - "LA CERQUA" - of which he is still an active member.

His art, firmly based in Impressionism, has been enriched over time by a personal and vigorous style which draws strength from incisive brushstrokes and the blending of vivid colors.

Without denying that his first and foremost source of inspiration is that of the artist Chaim Soutain, Guitarrini holds that the real transformation in his style came when he encountered the works of Onorato Carlandi.

A decisive and compelling expressiveness now aims to realize the effect of the subject painted, and not the subject itself.

The artist now lives and continues his painting career in Bracciano.
L'ARTISTA

LUIGI GUITARRINI (Lug De Nino) nasce a Vejano nel 1945.

Participa a numerose Mostre riscuotendo notevoli consensi. Diventa Socio Fondatore dell'Associazione Pittori "LA CERQUA" di Bracciano, della quale fa ancora parte.

La sua pittura di forte impostazione impressionistica si è arricchita nel tempo di uno stile personale e vigoroso che prende forza dal colore e da una pennellata incisiva.

Senza rinnegare le prime fonti di ispirazione e soprattutto quella di Chaim Soutine, la vera trasformazione si è materializzata con l'incontro delle opere di Onorato Carlandi.

L'espressività decisa e coinvolgente mira ora, infatti, più alla realizzazione dell'effetto della cosa dipinta, piutosto che alla cosa stessa.

Attualmente egli vive a Bracciano dove continua la sua attività pittorica.
